Technorati gets huge SEO benefit from all the bloggers who point at them via the tags in their blog entries. The converse isn't true.

http://del.icio.us/robots.txt forbids search engine crawlers to index the underlying pages, so spamming del.icio.us won't help you in the SEO-game.

Technorati does let search engines index their tag pages, but have in their HTML, so search engines should ignore the links in these pages.

I wonder if there is any SEO (search engine optimization) benefit to tagging? Would the links in technocrati or delicious count toward links for the writer?
