Alex has posted the 2nd half of the podcast he made out of a conversation we had this past week. We talked about attention, OPML, RSS, and everything in between. You’ll notice that we’re not format experts, and that’s basically the point, and leads to the question we keep asking:
“How will this affect normal folks in the future”?
So our hope in publishing this is to start an open, inclusive discussion about attention. Feel free to add comments to help that along…
Here are the podcasts, as well as Alex’s extremely helpful notes.

Great show. I am curious as to why you feel that you can trust Root Markets to do the right thing with your personal data? I want to give their management the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their integrity, etc. and I currently have no reason to question their intent. That said, I do have a problem with the management of Root Markets, a commercial entity, basically running the Attention Trust which is supposed to be certifying Root Markets as trust worthy.

Scott, I think you raise a good point, personally speaking, I feel uncomfortable with the close releationship betweeen the non-profit and commercial entities. We did discuss this in the podcast.
